Morning all. Hope you havent had too much damage with all these high winds.

Here is my latest offering. They are gift card/ money holders. They are quick and easy to make and can be tailor-made for any occasion.

They could be one of the things you and your guests could make if you were to hold a Stampin' Up! party, and dont forget that for the months of June & July if you have £325 or over in sales you will receive an extra £30 on top of the existing hostess benefits.

Contact me if you are interested. X

Had a bit of free time over the weekend so put these together. I have used the same design as the card that goes with the Toto Bag class card. It just goes to show that you can use the same basic design, but just use different colour paper and card.

Embossing

Now that I am feeling a bit better after my little op I decided today to get the old crafting stuff out and put some ideas together for the Embossing class on Tuesday 19th June.

We will be running through the basics of inks and embossing powders and their uses. We will have a go at embossing and I hope to pass on a few tips, so hopefully the ladies will be able to go home and emboss to their hearts content!!

We will also be making a card or two, and today I was playing, in between watching HRH on the river. Shame about the weather but didnt they all look fab!

Here is what I made.

Hope you like them.

Still four places left so dont forget to let me know if you would like to come.

Good morning all and what a fantastic day it is!

I have a couple of things to show you today which I hope you will like.

The first is a photo of the project we will making at the June classes, as I didnt think the one I have already posted does it justice.
I have used a different paper, still from the Sale a Bration pack and a different ribbon colour. There will be various designs for you to choose from if you decide to join the class and I will need to know asap so that I can ensure we have enough materials for all.

The second project I thought I would show you is some cards I made using up some scrap from the overflowing scraps box. Still more to go! Its not my own design but one I have copied from a lady called Karin Menghini. Its using the Little Leaves Big shot sizzlets die and the boho flowers punch. A simple but elegant card I thought and a great way to use up bits and pieces.

Embossing Class

Morning all! Sorry I have been a very bad blogger again, but time just seems to be flying by. I just seem to have time to prepare for classes, then they have come and gone and its on to the next one!

The next ones are on 11th & 12th June and we will be making a card tote bag suitable for all those odd shaped presents you need to package and a matching card. You will also receive a pack of pearls to take home and glam up your other projects. There are still places available on both classes so let me know if you wish to attend and I will put your name down. Furthur details on the classes page.

On the subject of classes, I have been asked to do an embossing class so I have arranged with hubby to have the house on the evening of the 19th June. There will be 6 spaces, 2 of which have gone, at a cost of £6. We will look at the inks and embossing powders you need, have a play and make a card or two using embossing techniques. Heat embossing is a great way to add dimension and colour to your designs, as it gives a rised and shiny outline to your images. Once again let me know if you would like to come.

Still looking for party hostesses and Stampers group members. I have three ladies chopping at the bit waiting to order, mainly from the new summer mini.

Saturday's craft fair

Morning ladies and what a grey one it is. Lets hope the weather improves, so that I can get the kids out in the garden to burn off some energy, while I spend some time playing with my bits from the new summer mini catty.

Thanks to those ladies that came along to see me on Saturday morning, to have a go on the make & take table and benefit from a 10% discount on their orders.

I was also taking names for my new stampers group and had a lovely new lady Sarah join the crew! If you love Stampin Up this is a great way to build up your stash and also earn free Stampin Up products, without holding a party. The group will commit to spend £150 between them, which is the required amount to start earning hostess benefits. Every month one member will take it in turn to become the 'virtual hostess' and receive the hostess benefits. Everyone who joins my Stampers 10 club will also receive a free copy of the Stampin Up catalogue if they don't already have one. If you would like to join please let me know.

I also had my booking basket with me, where anyone could pick a small thank you gift for booking a party or mini card class with me or Helen. I still have it handy so also let me know if you have a free date to gather a few friends together for a fun evening of creating. The mini card classes cost £6 per person, but they will go home with 5 cards crafted by themselves. If you just want to host a party there will be a demo by myself and Helen plus a small make & take so that your friends can have a little play with the products.

Helen and I will be busy over the next few days preparing for the Men & Boys card class next week. Still a couple of places but you will need to be quick if you would like to join us.
