Class reminders

Hello everyone in blogland. Sorry I havent posted for a while but the Farquhars have been away for a few days in York. The weather wasnt too bad and York is lovely, although I wouldnt recommend climbing up the tower of the Cathederal unless you are an olympic athelete!

Now it is back down to earth and to get up to date on all our crafting activites.

I would like to thank all those that came along to the Shopping Event last week. We raised £150 for the Scout group.

Next Thursday is the Wick Hall class, where we are making the Tote box and Christmas gift tags, so please let me know if you havent already, if you will be attending to ensure that we have enough kits made up.

Also dont forget the class at the Windmill on Monday 14th November. Helen will be taking it on her own as I will be on sick leave, so you will need to be on your best behaviour! Once again let me know if you want me to save you a space for this as well.

As I mentioned yesterday following the success of our Catalogue Launch Party, we have decided to hold another coffee morning on 26th November, followed by an afternoon class.
In the morning come along and have a coffee, chat and a go on the make and take table. There will also be the draw for the Big Shot.
In the afternoon we will be making this box framed 3d picture. Although Helen has made this one on a baby theme, there will be various colours for you to choose from.
The cost for the class will be £20 and a deposit of £10 will be required when booking. Closing date for bookings Friday 4th November please.

Big Shot News!!

Following the success of our Launch Party, Helen and I have decided to hold another coffee morning on 26th November followed by a class in the afternoon.

Also we have got our hands on a Big Shot and are going to raffle it at the coffee morning.

Tickets are £1 each or 6 tickets for a fiver! There is also a 2nd prize of a stamp set and a 3rd prize of a £5 gift voucher.

This is a great way to try and get your hands on a very useful piece of kit for free, and what you save on the Big Shot you can spend on the great selection of cutting dies and embossing folders.

Don't forget you have got to be in it to win it!

New Stampers Group

Just to let those of you who are thinking about joining our new Stampers Group there are still a couple of places left.

Remember its a great way to increase your stash slowly over a few months and also to receive the hostess benefits without holding a party. There are some great hostess only stamp sets and paper. You would be able to buy any of them, unlike previous years when you would have been limited by the amount of sales. Take a look at the catalogue if you don't believe me, as I think they are the best yet.

Busy Busy Busy

Well Helen and I are having a busy week, hence the lack of postings - sorry!
On Monday we were at the Windmill making the little Top Note box and tags and last night we were at Wick Hall making these lovely little Christmas Cards. Once again a great bunch of girls and thanks for bringing the chocolates Pauline!
And to finish the week off we are at Kim's doing the Merry Christmas box and card set.

Catalogue Launch Day

Well what a fab morning we had yesterday at our Stampin Up catalogue launch party.
Thank you to all those ladies and one gentlemen who attended. I hope you all had fun and had a chance to have a go at one of the make & takes.
Here is the fab little card that Helen demonstrated and that the ladies were able to have a go at.
Helen used the new Pennant Parade stamp set and the Petite Pennants Builder punch, which proved to be very popular. Even I must have one now!
I do have a couple of spaces on my new Stampers Group left if anyone would like to take them. Its a great way to buy all those lovely new things you would like and spread the purchases over a few months. For one of those months you will be the virtual hostess and receive the hostess benefits.
I have also introduced gift vouchers. Take a look at the Gift Voucher page for further details.
