Happy New Year

Well I have spent the morning packing away the christmas decorations, putting the cards in a safe place for next year and hoovering up the pine needles from the tree.

I hope to be able to re home the Christmas tree where my husband works and maybe use it again next year. After all a tree is not just for Christmas, it is for life!

I just thought I would show you the decorations I made for the tree using punched shapes, which were folded in half and stuck together with a piece of Stampin Up's elastic cord in the middle. I used miles of the stuff over the festive period on my pressies and gift tags.

Easy to make and great fun with the kids helping. Just like making the paper chains in the old days!

Please excuse the fuzzy photo. I hope for a new camera for my birthday. But I am not holding my breath!

Opps Done it again!!

Sorry again. I have been a bit naughty and not done any posting for a while!

Since I last put a posting on my blog, lots has happened. On 26th November I had a stall at the Walberton Craft Fayre where I met lots of lovely ladies, who I hope will go on to host one of our mini card classes. It was a very festive evening and made me feel that Christmas was well and truly on its way.

Also Helen and I have done another class at The Windmill and a couple of mini classes at my house and at Mum's.

Well Christmas is steaming towards us and the kids have broken up from school. Most of my Christmas cards have been written and sent. Pressies almost wrapped and decorations about to go up. Just the turkey to buy and I think I am almost there!

Once I have done all that and I have a bit of time to myself, I will start putting together some more selections for our mini card classes ready for next year. Helen will be busy making up the packs for the next two classes which are featured on the classes page. Please let me know if you want to come and join in the fun and I will make sure that Helen has a pack with your name on it!

I am also now taking bookings for parties and mini card classes for 2011, so give me a buzz if you want to organise one for you and your friends and relatives.

Well the house is stirring so I had better go and get the show on the road.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to you all.

Christmas is Coming

Hello, hope you are well.

Once again I have to apologise for being quite for a while. Helen and I have been so busy again!

We have been to the annual Stampin' Up! convention at Addington Palace in Croydon, where we spent two days with like minded people picking up new ideas and tips, ready to pass on to you. When I get a mo I will post some of the fabulous swaps we made with other SU demonstrators.

We have also been getting all our November and December classes prepared ready for you and have even started thinking about next year! Scary isn't it!
On Monday we did two classes at the Windmill. One at 2.30 and one at 7.30, where we made six Christmas cards. Here they are.

The next class is on the 13th December when we will be decorating a Christmas candle and tin along with a tri shutter card. Please let me know if you would like me to reserve you a place.

Project Photos

Here as promised is a photo of the projects we made on Saturday. We also made a Tri Shutter card. All the projects used Stampin' Up!s Jolly Holly papers and matching card.
Each lady had a goody bag, which included spare papers, gold cord for their tags, a pot of Dazzling Diamonds, along with a personalized note book, pen and bottle of water.
As everybody enjoyed the day so much and all wanted to do another one, Helen and I will be planning and plotting and will hopefully be putting another Craft Extravaganza together for Spring next year. So keep watching for further details.

Craft Day Update

Wow what a fantastic day we had yesterday. The feedback at the end of the day was great and I would like to thank all those that came and helped make the day as good as it was.

The ladies made six projects which included a decorated bottle tube, paper ribbon, tag box with acetate lid, a treat bag and two cards.
They all went home happy the end of the day but did look a little tired. Next time I promise we will take it a bit easier!
Here are some photos of the day and I will post some photos of the projects in the next couple of days.

Christmas is coming!

Hi still busy! Not only getting ready for Saturday's Craft Day but also preparing for Windmill classes and 5 for £5 classes, which are beginning to fill up! Don't forget if you want to have one of your own and get a group of your friends together for a girlie evening give me a buzz to arrange a date.
Here is a card I have made for one of the classes using a new set called Delightful Decorations and the matching punch. It is really versatile and I will try and get some examples of how it can be used in different ways as soon as I can.
Still a couple of places left on the Stampers Group and don't forget to leave those wish lists around for family and friends to find for Christmas pressy ideas. Make sure they know that I can be contacted at any time and will of course be very discreet!! I will even wrap the gifts for them.
Will let you know how Saturday goes and maybe post a few photos of the ladies in action!

Busy Busy Busy

Hi sorry I haven't posted for a while but Helen and I have been busy getting everything ready for the Craft Day which is now only 2 weeks away. We are both so excited and pleased with the projects that we have lined up. Its just the final bits to do nearer the time that we have left to do now.

Also following the Launch Party it is now time to start thinking about Christmas and we are getting things ready for all the Christmas classes we have lined up. Keep and eye on the classes page and I will do my best to keep it up to date.

Also at the class I had enough people who wanted to join my new Stampers Group to make it a Stampers 10! This means each member only has to spend £15 a month to join and have the hostess benefits. There are still two places left if anyone is interested and it will start at the end of the month.

Everybody that came to the Launch Party thought the catalogue was fabulous and I have to agree. With a large number of items being retired, it has been replaced with some great new products and the new colours give it all a fresh feel. If you would like a catalogue let me know and I can send you one for £5 including P&P, or you can take a look online at http://www.stampinup.com/, and email with your order. Don't forget I accept pay pal, as well as cash and cheques and Stampin' Up have just started to accept credit cards.
