Here are my latest makes which I created on Friday when having a play on Friday night with my SU colleague Emma. It is great getting together with other people as they sometimes have the bits I dont have and it gives me a chance to to try before I buy!!
I have used the new pin wheel sizzlet die to make these cute little pin wheels, which are on cloud embossed card. I used the honey coombe embossing folder on the other card. I have to say that I am now tempted to buy both myself now!!

Class news

Its been a strange old week for me this week. Exciting at Morrisons, where I now work, as it was our opening week and slightly sad as after approx 5 years I did my last craft class at the Windmill. I have made the very hard decision to leave the Windmill for two reasons. Working at Morrisons on a Monday with a early start I was not  going to have enough time to comfortably set up and prepare for the class. Along with that, as the venue is under the threat of closure, it was also becoming upsetting to see the way the Windmill and its staff are being run down.

I have enjoyed the classes and the company of some really nice ladies and hope all those that have attended did too. I will miss them all, but hope that maybe some of them may join us at the Wick Hall on the first Tuesday of the month, which will continue. Once things have settled down at work I hope to organise some day time events for those that dont want to come out in the evenings.

The next Wick Hall class is on Tuesday 5th March, when we will be making this box, which has two compartments and is perfect for two small bottles of wine, oils and smellies. We will be using various papers including a pretty flower patterned one, the choice will be yours.

There are still spaces available, so please let me know if you would like to join us, or order anything from the current Stampin' Up! catalogues.

February's Class

Here is a picture of next month's class project, which we will be making at the Windmill and Wick hall, details of which can be found on the classes page.

It is using the Bright Blossoms stamp set (£14.95)and Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (14.25). The class will cost £10 (which includes all the required materials) however if you purchase the stamp set and punch you will only pay £5 for your class.

Please let me know by 22nd January if you would like to join us so that I can ensure there are enough materials for all.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Well where did the last one go? I have no idea. I must apologise again for the lack of posts. What with Christmas and starting a new job, I just don't seem to find the time. However I am going to try and make time!

I will be working hard over the weekend to try and get as much information updated as I can. This will including forthcoming classes and telling you all about this year's Sale a Bration offer, which starts on 22nd January through to 22nd March, along with the new Spring Mini which will be available soon too!

In the meantime I thought I would just show you this lovely little set of cards and little presentation box that my ladies made last night at the Wick Hall class. They are based on a set that Jenny Moors designed and although simple I think very effective.
