Better Late Than never!
A bit late I know but Happy New Year and sorry for not posting for the last couple of months!

We are now well into the Stampin Up Sale a Bration sales period. Up until 31st March if you spend £45 on SU products, you will receive exclusive products free, and if you join as a demonstrator you will receive and extra £30 in products too! You can either join as a business demo or just as a hobby demo for your own needs.

Christmas Time!!!
I know, been a bad girl again and not posted for a while. I am afraid
with summer hols, daughter getting ready for uni etc, I dont seem to
have had any spare time!!
However now the hols are over I hope to be able to get back to normal.
The next Wick Hall class is on the 6th Oct when we start making Christmas cards. This is a busy time of the year for crafters, and also an ideal time for new crafters to dip their toes in the water to see if they want to take up the hobby full time.
I will post photos of the cards we will be making in the next few days. If you would like to join us I will need numbers and a £5 deposit by 24th Sept, so just message me for further details if you would like to join us. X

Fancy making your own greetings cards but not sure where to start?
Then the latest card making kits from Stampin Up could be the answer for
you.
The Cottage Greetings card kit has enough materials to make 15 cards, 5 of each design.
All you need is glue and the words to put on the cards.
Stamping Up can also help with this!

New Catalogue Time
Out with the old and in with the new! The new Stampin Up catalogue has
arrived with lots of fabulous new products in it and 5 new in colours.
I have a small supply of cattys at £2.25 each (rrp £4.95) and just let me know if you would like one and I will put one by for you.
You can start ordering from it on 2nd June, when the old one and the spring mini finish.
Just to let you know, some things have gone up (the first time in at least 5 years). For example envelopes, cardstock and trimmer blades just being some. I will be putting an order through during the last week of the month, so let me know if you would like me to order anything for you before the price increase.

Georgeous Grunge!
What do crafters do when its wet and windy outside? They get their stash out and have a play!
Felt the urge this afternoon and made a couple of cards with a male theme. I used SU's Georgeous Grunge stamp set to create the back ground and a very old hostess stamp set for the sentiment.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year, all be it a little late!
Been busy with the family, but beginning to get back into the swing of things now, including crafting.
My latest passion has been making flowers out of card. Very simple too do although a little time consuming and tough on the fingers!
I have posted some pictures of the projects so far, which I think are perfect for Valentine gifts, parties and weddings. The colour of the flowers can be changed to suit the occassion.
I am taking orders if you would like to purchase one for £5 a heart. If however you would like to make them yourself I am happy to show you how for the cost of the Stampin Up punch used (£15.50) and the card. Email if you are interested.
Of course you can write your loved one a special message on the slate!

Four Feathers Stamp Set
Here is one of the projects we made on Tuesday
at the Wick Hall craft evening. It is using the Four Feathers stamp
set, which is in the Winter Mini catalogue. Its a great little set and a
snip at £9.95 for the clear mount set. Also comes with matching framelits for £11.95 or £18.50 if yoy buy together.
Products from this catalogue are only available till the 5th of January, when it will be replaced by the new Spring Mini, and may not go into the new main catalogue.

Christmas Party
The year is coming to an end and the next craft evening at Wick Hall, on 2nd December will be the last one for 2014. As we have done for the last few years, we use it as an excuse for a little party, with nibbles and drinks.
Not only will we be eating and drinking, but of course there will be a few seasonal crafty projects too.
The cost of a party bag will be £10, which will include refreshments and the materials required to make all your festive projects, plus a couple of treats, along with a Christmas raffle.
If however you just want to pop in to see what we do and join us for nibbles and drinks, you are more than welcome. There will be a few spare craft projects if you fancy having a go too.
Party bags will need to be booked by 22nd November so that I can get everything ready for the evening.

Christmas time.....
Not that long now till that special time of the year, when crafters are in their element, creating cards and other seasonal projects. With that in mind, next months Wick Hall card class is once again on a Christmas theme. On Tuesday I showed my ladies two projects that I had in mind and because they didn't all want to do the same one, I have given them the choice of making the advent boxes or 8 cards.
To make the cards it is £10 and to make the boxes £12.50.

Octobers Class
Well its time to start thinking about that time of year again and with that in mind we will be doing Christmas cards at the next class, on Tuesday 7th October.
You will receive enough materials to make 10 of the above cards and a pot of glitter glue to add a bit of bling.
To make the cards only the cost is £10, although you will need to bring your own pens, £18.50 to include 3 pens and £27.50 for the pens and stamp, should you want to make some more at home.
I will need to know if you are planning to join us by 26th September, along with payment, so that I can get the materials ordered in time.

Teacher Treat Idea's
Here is a sneeky peek of one of idea's for teachers treat's that I will be showing at the coffee morning on 12th July. The boxes are from Stampin Up, are flat packed and easy to assemble. All you need to do is decorate and fill with beautiful smelling tealights or votives. You could also fill them with sweeties or even homemade cakes and cookies as they are also food safe!
The long boxes are £6.25 for a pack of 8 (only 78p per box) and the square decorative window boxes are £4.50 for 6 (75p) each. A great price and we also do plain square kraft boxes which would be fab for party bags and easily decorated to what ever theme you choose.
I can also supply PartyLite candles to go in them, as I have just signed up as a consultant. Let me know if you fancy holding a party or just want to top up on your existing candles. If you really dont want to have everybody around why not just have a party pack to look at with family and friends. I will pick the order up from you and you will still be able to benefit from the hostess offers.
